According to know, in Shangzhi City, Heilongjiang Province of China, Red raspberry and Black fungus cultivation have become the prosperous ways for local farmers to earn considerable revenues. In 2016, the mushroom production of Shangzhi City reached 2.1 billion bags, the output of Black fungus reached 79,800 tons while mushroom output obtained 42,700 tons, which endowed the city with the good reputations of “The National Production County of Black fungus” and “The County of Black Fungus”. It is revealed that in the future, Shangzhi City plans to raise mushroom production capacity to 100 million bags.

It was a busy three days at the Fairmont Le Château Frontenac. The final day of the conference fell on the annual National Holiday Saint-Jean-Baptist Day which offered local festivities, traditional parades and mega variety shows. It is a great pleasure and a privilege to welcome you to the 9th International Medicinal Mushrooms Conference, which will be held in Palermo, Italy, from 24 - 28 September 2017.
