Not long ago, an outdoors-woman found a Golden Bamboo fungus while she was foraging for wild mushrooms in mountain fields of Gaolong Village, Hunan Province of China, the fungus was identified as Dictyophora indusiata by related mavens. According to know, Dictyophora indusiata are known as “Fairy of Snow Skirt” and “Mushroom Queen”, this kind of fungi are mainly produced in Yunnan Province of China.

“Dictyophora indusiata are featured as white color, golden Bamboo fungi are rather rare, especially for those that grow in non-production area,” said one of mushroom mavens, going on that Dictyophora indusiata refer to highest-grade variety and they were tributes of royal court in Chinese markets. 

Saint Petersburg plans to build a mushroom nursery soon. The project with a capacity of 10,000 tonnes also includes a department for raw materials.

The agreement has been signed by the local government and the company Vyborgec. "Mushroom production is a new area for us. We cultivate mushrooms and shiitake," says Alexander Drozdenko, Governor of the region. He stressed that St. Petersburg produces 40% of all the food in the northwestern region. St. Petersburg meets 60% of the demand for cucumbers and 40% for tomatoes. "Soon we will double the production," said the Governor.

Shiitake cultivation has veritably become the new path for mountainous people to end poverty and grow rich.

At present, it is the picking time of Bamboo fungus in base of Hangcun Village, Jiangxi Province of China, cultivators are immersed with joyfulness. According to know, the village holds 190 mu of Bamboo fungus area, 12 poor households join in mushroom cooperative, which brings about annual average incomes of over 8000 CNY per household.

Since this year, under the propulsion of industrial poverty alleviation policy, mushroom industry has been quickly developed in Shangzhou District, Shanxi Province of China. Now, Shiitake, Oyster mushroom, Black fungus, King oyster mushroom and other mushrooms are being cultivated in an area of 2456.3 mu, besides, 2459 mushroom greenhouses have been established, 75 mushroom cooperatives, 7 mushroom companies, 66 industrialized and specialized mushroom bases have been successively registered and built in the district.
