The International Mushroom Days and Edible Fungi Full Industry Chain Innovation Expo will take place in Xiamen, China, bringing together companies and professionals from across the country’s extensive edible fungi industry.

Covering around 17,000 m² of exhibition space, the event is designed to represent the full mushroom value chain. Exhibitors are expected to include suppliers of equipment, spawn, cultivation technology and other products and services used throughout mushroom production and processing.

China plays a dominant role in global mushroom production, yet many of the technologies, production systems and suppliers active in the Chinese market remain relatively unfamiliar to growers and industry professionals in Europe and North America. Events such as International Mushroom Days therefore provide an interesting window into developments taking place within the world’s largest mushroom-producing market.

Beyond its scale, the exhibition offers an opportunity to see how different parts of the Chinese mushroom sector are evolving, from cultivation and automation to equipment and supply-chain solutions.
