According to Kunming Institute of Botany from Chinese Academy of Sciences, recently, MengSong Entolomataceae, a magnificent mushroom variety was surprisingly found in Menghai County, Yunnan Province of China.

Entolomataceae holds corn or discoid cap, yellow brown mycelia and spordium that carry the micron size of 4-8 × 4-6. Besides, Entolomataceae shows wild distribution, the variety could be found in selva, temperate forest, high mountain forest or even north pole.

Over the years, along with the full development of taxonomic study, new varieties of Entolomataceae have been successively found in South China, which indicates the constant maturity of fungus taxonomic research techniques and launches new window for exploiting fantastic fungus world.
