Ingredients
1 pound sirloin steak, cut into 1 ½ inch cubes
8 ounces white button mushrooms
2 green bell peppers, cut into 1 ½ inch pieces
1 large red onion, cut into chunks
1 to 2 tablespoons olive oil
Salt & black pepper, to taste
Skewers (metal or soaked wooden)
For the Garlic Butter:
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Assemble the skewers by alternating steak, mushrooms, peppers and onion chunks.
- Drizzle with olive oil and season generously with salt and black pepper on all sides.
- Grill the kebabs over direct heat for 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until the steak is cooked to your liking and the veggies are tender with nice char marks.
- Make the garlic butter in a small saucepan or cast-iron pan: melt the butter, then stir in the garlic, salt, pepper and parsley (if using). Simmer for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
