When you walk into Jinling Town, Nanning City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region of China, what might catch your sight are banana forests.
Jinling Town is famous for bananas, many farmers get fortunes by banana cultivation. However, Ms. Lin, one of local villagers, has created another prosperous road via her smart thought.
Under her unremitting leadership, mushroom industry of the town has been developed from nothing to prosperity.
In 2010, Ms. Lin established Jinke Mushroom Cooperative. Through years of elaborate operation and management, 76 members have been absorbed here and per capita income reaches 3600 CNY.
At the end of 2011, 8 mushroom greenhouses were established, a series of new varieties such as Ganoderma, Tricholoma giganteum, Pleurotus cornucopiae and Pleurotus geesteranus were introduced. By now, annual mushroom capacity of the cooperative obtains 600,000-700,000 sticks, annual sales income attains 3.1 million CNY while annual pure profits come to 520,000 CNY.
